Cap d'Agde port centre

The Môle area
To the east of the port centre, at the bottom of Rue de la Flânerie, lies the Môle district and beach, a tourist area bustling with homes and a lively atmosphere. Connected to the port centre by the pedestrianised allée de la Flânerie, this street invites you to stroll around, explore the shops and enjoy an ice cream, making for an unforgettable experience.
Place du Môle is the hub of activity, with its market, restaurants and bars. Entertainment includes a water park and a large petanque area just across the beach. There is a pleasant walk along the coast to the large conch, where a few coves can be spotted.
For motorised visitors, a large free car park is available opposite the La Clape campsite. For families with young children, don't miss the Capitaine Jako water park for a family day out.
The Roquille area
The La Roquille district is an extension of the Môle district, to the north-east, and is a much quieter area with no noise pollution. There are no large multi-storey residences in this district, which is generally made up of small cottages or flats no higher than the 1st floor. Even so, it's easy to get to the port centre, which is a 10-minute walk away. As for activities in the La Roquille district, Mango's Beach is right on the beach, offering a pleasant, peaceful setting in a South American atmosphere! The deckchairs are just waiting for you. There's also the Parc Lano, a large natural area with a large pool, ideal for family outings or walks with the dog. Here you can see the famous naturist village of Cap d'Agde! There are a number of shops and restaurants on the seafront.
The pinède area
Nestled near the Bagnas reserve and the Maraval castle, away from noise disturbances, the Pinewood neighborhood is calm and green, it's a pleasant residential area surrounded by numerous pine trees. A bike path makes Roquille beach accessible in 15 minutes. The Pinewood neighborhood is often sought after for its proximity to the naturist village and the International Tennis Center with nearly 30 available courts, the National Tennis Cup is held there every year in October, it's a major amateur tournament.
L'avant-port and l'île des pêcheurs area
Located in the southeast of Cap d'Agde, in a quiet and charming corner, is a particularly pleasant spot in Cap d'Agde. It is here that the old port, the captaincy, and the technical area are nestled, hosting a large boat show once a year.
The seafront offers a picturesque setting with La Plagette, a small beach that lives up to its name. From there, a well-marked underwater trail attracts underwater enthusiasts. The surrounding restaurants offer delicious local cuisine; we recommend dining at "La Bonne Mère" with a breathtaking view; you won't be disappointed.
Another must-visit location in Cap d'Agde is Grande Conque beach. This beach, carved into cliffs of volcanic origin, is famous for its black sand and is one of the most popular destinations in Cap d'Agde.
For the more adventurous, an early morning visit to the old port is an opportunity to purchase fresh fish from local fishermen.
Fishermen's Island is primarily residential, with a few shops gathered at the bottom of the neighborhood. A walk around the island reveals magnificent viewpoints.
Richelieu area
The Richelieu neighborhood is located right next to the Mail de Rochelongue, a favorite area for partygoers, where you'll find the leisure island, a party venue with several bars and nightclubs such as Amnésia, Bora club, and Bora beach. These establishments have built up a strong reputation! Luna Park, a large amusement park, is also present on the leisure island.
Located in the Richelieu neighborhood, Aqualand, a large water park, offers a variety of water attractions for all ages and adventure levels.
Visitors can enjoy thrilling water slides, wave pools, calm rivers, and interactive play areas. With its 14 different attractions, Aqualand offers unique experiences, thrills, and refreshing moments of fun.
Just before the leisure island, you can find some local shops: Spar, pharmacy, bakery, dry cleaning, etc...
Richelieu also boasts a long beach of over 1300 meters, where you'll find numerous beach huts! Ideal for spending beautiful sunny afternoons.
Rochelongue area
The Rochelongue neighborhood, located to the west of Cap d'Agde, is the latest neighborhood created in Cap d'Agde. It emerged in the 1990s and was inspired by the famous "ramblas" of Barcelona. The Mail de Rochelongue, the heart of the neighborhood, is composed of a multitude of shops, bars, restaurants, and ice cream parlors. During the summer season, numerous activities are organized. It is also pleasant to stroll along Rochelongue Beach; a large pedestrian avenue allows you to walk up to the Richelieu neighborhood, and furthermore, a bike path allows you to go to the city center of Agde. The beach is located right at the end of Mail de Rochelongue, ideal for enjoying ice cream after a long afternoon at the beach.
the falaises area
Located between the areas of the Môle and the harbor, the Cliffs neighborhood is primarily known for its magnificent Grande Conque beach. Nestled between two cliffs of volcanic rock, this iconic black sand beach of Cap d'Agde offers a spectacular landscape. We recommend taking a stroll along the cliffs, where you'll find a breathtaking panorama!
